Match the Shapes TK worksheet

- Ages 4-5
- About 5 minutes
- Early Math
- You need: Pencil or crayon
A note for parents
Matching shapes of different sizes shows children that a circle is still a circle, big or small. It takes about 5 minutes and gives you a chance to name each shape together.
How to help
- Name each shape as you go: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, star.
- Go on a shape hunt around the house afterward (a plate, a window, a book).
- Let them use a crayon to draw the matching lines; it is easier than a pencil.
Choose "Actual size" or "100%" when printing. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 x 11 in. The black-and-white version uses less ink.
