A note for parents

Spotting the odd one out trains attention to detail and early classification. Ask your child to say how the odd one is different.

How to help

  • Say what the matching pictures have in common.
  • Make your own odd-one-out rows with toys.
  • There is often more than one right reason; welcome all of them.

Choose "Actual size" or "100%" when printing. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 x 11 in. The black-and-white version uses less ink.
