Finish the Pattern TK worksheet

- Ages 4-5
- About 10 minutes
- Thinking Skills
- You need: Pencil or crayons
A note for parents
Spotting what repeats is early math thinking. Your child reads each pattern, then draws the shapes that come next. It takes about 10 minutes, and there is room to invent a pattern of their own.
How to help
- Read the pattern out loud together: "circle, square, circle, square..."
- Use real objects like blocks or snacks to build the same pattern first.
- Do not worry about perfect drawings; shape and order matter most.
Choose "Actual size" or "100%" when printing. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 x 11 in. The black-and-white version uses less ink.
