Writing their own name is one of the first big literacy milestones. Show them how to start with a big letter and then small letters.

How to help

  • Write the name on a separate card for them to copy.
  • Start each name at the left.
  • Celebrate any improvement.

Choose "Actual size" or "100%" when printing. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 x 11 in. The black-and-white version uses less ink.
