- You need: Pencil
A note for parents
Tracing the big and little versions of D, E and F builds letter recognition and pencil control at the same time. It takes about 10 minutes; one letter per sitting is fine.
How to help
- Say the sounds as they trace: D says /d/ as in duck, dog; E says /e/ as in egg, elephant; F says /f/ as in fish, frog.
- Start every letter at the top and say the path out loud.
- Use the empty spaces at the end of each line for free writing.
Choose "Actual size" or "100%" when printing. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 x 11 in. The black-and-white version uses less ink.
