Rhyme Match TK worksheet

- Ages 4-5
- About 8 minutes
- Letters & Writing
- You need: Pencil or crayon
A note for parents
Rhyming is a key early reading skill because it trains children to hear the ending sounds in words. Say each word aloud; it is a listening skill first.
How to help
- Say both words and stretch the ending: "caaat, haaat".
- Sing a rhyming song or read a rhyming book first.
- Make silly rhymes together.
Choose "Actual size" or "100%" when printing. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 x 11 in. The black-and-white version uses less ink.
