A note for parents

Patterns are a big idea in kindergarten math. This sheet pulls together shapes and pictures in patterns.

How to help

  • Read each pattern aloud.
  • Make your own pattern at the bottom.
  • Talk about what repeats.

Choose "Actual size" or "100%" when printing. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 x 11 in. The black-and-white version uses less ink.
