Comparing length is the first kind of measuring. Use words like longer, shorter, longest and shortest.

How to help

  • Compare real objects like pencils and spoons.
  • Line the items up at one end to compare.
  • Use "longer" and "shorter" at home.

Choose "Actual size" or "100%" when printing. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 x 11 in. The black-and-white version uses less ink.
