A note for parents

Naming feelings is the first step to managing them. When a child can say "I feel angry", they are more able to calm down and ask for help.

How to help

  • Make each face yourselves in a mirror.
  • Talk about a time you each felt that way.
  • Ask what helps when we feel sad or angry.

Choose "Actual size" or "100%" when printing. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 x 11 in. The black-and-white version uses less ink.
