Count the Sides TK worksheet

- Ages 4-5
- About 10 minutes
- Early Math
- You need: Pencil
A note for parents
Counting sides and corners is how children learn what makes a triangle a triangle. A shape is named by its sides, not by its size or color.
How to help
- Run a finger along each side as they count.
- Mark the first corner so they know where to stop.
- Notice that sides and corners match every time.
Choose "Actual size" or "100%" when printing. A4 is 210 x 297 mm; US Letter is 8.5 x 11 in. The black-and-white version uses less ink.
